Day 1

Arusha - Tarangire

Arusha - Tarangire

You've been dreaming of your Tanzanian safari for so long and the day when it begins has finally arrived. We'll greet
you, give you a quick rundown on what happens next and answer your questions. Then we'll take you out to discover
what this incredible country has to offer. If you’ve never been to Tarangire (and even if you have) you’re in for a real treat. Tarangire is filled with giants baobab trees all across the park, as well as elephants, lots of them. But that’s just the beginning. Of the big cats, you’ll probably see lions, and cheetahs and leopards are around, too. And it’s impossible to miss the wildebeest, giraffes, hippos, buffaloes and zebras. Your backdrop for all of this is one of the prettiest in northern Tanzania, with a memorable mix of river woodland, open plains and rolling hills. And some vantage points to take it all in.

Main Destination:
Tarangire National Park
Best Time To Visit July to November (Animals come to the Tarangire River)

Central Serengeti - Ngorongoro

Your first sight of Ngorongoro Crater is likely not one you’ll easily forget. As seen from the crater rim, this natural bowl,
both vast and intimate, is one of Africa’s most beautiful natural features, stretching 19 green kilometers (12 miles)
from one side to the other. Down in the crater itself, you’ll explore an astonishingly rich, self-contained ecosystem that
is protected by high crater walls. Here, lions and hyenas hunt wildebeest and Grant’s gazelle within sight of elephants and
black rhinos. Your day spent here will reveal a surprising variety of habitats, from the Lereal Forest and salty Lake
Magadi to the plains that rise and fall gently all across the valley floor.

Main Destination:
Ngorongoro Crater
Best Time To Visit June to October (Wildlife viewing is best)
