After an early breakfast, depart for Lake Eyasi, a remote and culturally rich destination in northern Tanzania. Upon arrival, enjoy a unique cultural experience as you visit the Hadzabe tribe, one of the last remaining hunter-gatherer communities in Africa. You will have the rare opportunity to join them on a morning hunting walk, learning about their traditional survival skills, use of bows and arrows, and deep connection with nature.
Later, visit the Datoga tribe, known for their pastoral lifestyle and skilled blacksmithing. Observe how they craft tools and jewelry using traditional methods, and gain insight into their customs, homes, and daily life. This immersive cultural encounter offers a meaningful glimpse into ancient traditions still practised today. As the visit concludes, enjoy the scenic surroundings of Lake Eyasi before returning to Arusha, carrying unforgettable memories of authentic cultural interactions.
