Day 1

Your safari begins with a morning departure from Arusha after breakfast. Drive south toward Tarangire National Park, famous for its mighty baobab trees and the largest elephant herds in Northern Tanzania. Enjoy a full game drive as you explore the Tarangire River ecosystem—prime territory for lions, giraffes, zebras, and migratory wildlife.

In the late afternoon, continue to the highlands of Karatu for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, continue toward the Ndutu plains, the heart of the Great Migration’s calving season. Between December and March, more than 500,000 calves are born here, drawing in predators and creating some of the most dramatic wildlife moments on earth.

After an early breakfast, drive to the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s natural wonders and home to the densest concentration of wildlife on the continent.

Descend into the crater for a full game drive, where you may spot lions, black rhinos, elephants, buffalos, hippos, and the crater’s unique landscapes.

After your safari, return to Karatu for dinner and rest.

Depart Karatu for Lake Manyara National Park, known for its lush forests, tree-climbing lions, hot springs, and huge flocks of flamingos along the lakeshore. Enjoy a final game drive before returning to Arusha in the late afternoon.
