Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Your safari begins with a morning pickup from your Arusha hotel, where you’ll meet your guide for a short briefing before setting off on a scenic drive of about 2.5 hours to Tarangire National Park. Often called the “Elephant Paradise,” Tarangire is renowned for its vast elephant herds, towering baobab trees, and abundant wildlife, particularly during the dry season. Upon arrival, you’ll enjoy an immersive game drive along the Tarangire River, the park’s main water source, where elephants gather to drink and bathe alongside buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, and various antelope species, with chances to spot elusive tree-climbing lions or leopards. A picnic lunch will be served at a picturesque spot inside the park before you continue exploring.
