1-Day Tsavo East Shared Safari from Malindi / Watamu

You’ll depart Malindi in the early morning, with pick-up at 5:30 AM. Carrying a packed breakfast is recommended as you make your way toward Tsavo East National Park, enjoying the beauty of a sunrise over the savannah during your drive. Upon arrival at Sala Gate, you will enter the park and begin your wildlife adventure.

Tsavo East is renowned for its rich diversity of animals, including the iconic Big Five—lion, black rhino, buffalo, elephant, and leopard—along with an impressive array of birdlife. As you explore the vast plains, you’ll have plenty of opportunity to capture stunning photos of wildlife in their natural habitat.

After an exciting morning, you’ll head to a lodge within the park for lunch and a refreshing swim. In the mid-afternoon, you’ll continue your game drive as you make your way out of the park and back toward Malindi. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to your hotel, bringing your memorable day safari to a close.
