This morning, we will pick you up in Nairobi at your preferred location and you'll start your journey toward Lake Nakuru National Park. As you travel through the Great Rift Valley, enjoy sweeping views of dramatic escarpments, scattered lakes, and distant volcanoes. Upon arrival at the park, you head straight into your afternoon game drive. Lake Nakuru is renowned for its thriving rhino population, both black and white, as well as large herds of buffalo, graceful giraffes, and countless bird species. With its combination of open plains, acacia forests, and the shimmering lake, this first safari offers a beautiful introduction to Kenya’s wildlife. After your game drive, you continue to your lodge for a relaxed evening.

After breakfast, you depart Nakuru and make your way toward the world-famous Maasai Mara. Maasai Mara National Reserve

Today you have a full day to immerse yourself in the magic of the Maasai Mara. You set off early, when the wildlife is most active and the morning light paints the plains in soft golden tones. Your guide will take you deep into the reserve, exploring different ecosystems, from open grasslands teeming with grazers to riverine forests where elephants and buffalo often gather. Throughout the day you’ll search for the Big Five, observe predators on the move, and witness the everyday drama of life in the wild. A picnic lunch is enjoyed under the shade of an acacia tree, with panoramic views stretching out in every direction. In the afternoon, you continue your game drive as the temperatures cool and animals become active again. You return to the lodge in the early evening to unwind, share stories, and enjoy dinner surrounded by the sounds of the savannah.

Maasai Mara National Reserve

Another full day in the Maasai Mara gives you the opportunity to explore new areas of the reserve and deepen your safari experience. You may venture toward different valleys, river crossings, or plains known for large concentrations of wildlife. Every corner of the Mara has its own character, perhaps today you’ll come across a coalition of cheetahs scanning the horizon, a herd of elephants moving gracefully between the trees, or a pride of lions waking from their midday rest. Your guide tailors the day to your interests, whether that means spending more time tracking big cats or pausing to watch smaller, often overlooked species like bat-eared foxes or colorful birdlife. Once again, you enjoy a relaxed picnic lunch in the bush before continuing your exploration. As the sun begins to set, the sky fills with warm colors and the silhouettes of animals on the horizon, an unforgettable end to another extraordinary day in the Mara.

Maasai Mara - Nairobi

After breakfast, you begin your drive back to Nairobi. As you leave the Mara behind, you can enjoy the changing landscapes along the way. The drive takes around five to six hours, and you’ll arrive in the city later in the day. Your safari adventure comes to an end, full of incredible memories and unforgettable wildlife encounters. The tour ends in Nairobi, we can take you to a hotel booked by you, book additional accommodation for you or take you to the airport if you have a late flight out.
