Nairobi - Lake Naivasha

Nairobi - Lake Naivasha

In the morning, you will be picked up in Nairobi at your preferred location. Your journey begins with a scenic drive down into the Great Rift Valley, where sweeping views and dramatic escarpments set the tone for the days ahead. Upon reaching Lake Naivasha, you’ll step aboard a boat for a tranquil safari across the shimmering freshwater lake. As you glide over the water, keep an eye out for pods of hippos, fish eagles swooping overhead, and the rich birdlife that thrives along the shores.
After the boat safari, you’ll land on Crescent Island for a guided walking safari. This private sanctuary is home to giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, antelopes and countless birds, all roaming freely in an open, predator-free environment. Walking among them offers an intimate perspective that’s impossible from a vehicle. After this immersive experience, you’ll head to your lodge in Naivasha to relax, enjoy the gardens or take in the peaceful lakeside atmosphere as the sun sets.

Along the way, you may encounter zebras, gazelles, elands and baboons, all accustomed to visitors moving quietly on two wheels. The sense of freedom and connection to nature here is truly special.
After your cycling adventure, you’ll continue your drive towards the world-famous Maasai Mara. The scenery shifts from Rift Valley escarpments to rolling savannah as you travel deeper into Maasai country.
