Day 1

Pick Up and Transfer to Kibale National Park with an Afternoon Swamp walk in the Bigodi wetlands
After your early morning breakfast, you will be picked by a Likyadi Adventures guide and start your journey to Kibale National Park in Fort Portal through the tea plantations and rolling hills to reach Fort portal town. While in Fort portal you will have an en-route lunch before proceeding to Kibale National Park. After checking into the lodge, you will embark on a guided swamp walk in the Bigodi wetlands and you have a chance to spot 138 bird species and some primates species. After the walk, you will embark on a community tour near Kibale National Park where you will learn how coffee is processed locally ready for consumption. You will also visit Rest in Bananas where you will see how the Banana man makes different products from bananas. After you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2
Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale National Park
Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale National Park
You will wake up early in the morning for breakfast and then report at the park headquarters at Kanyanchu at 7:30am for briefing by the guides about the dos and don’ts while with the chimpanzees. You will then embark on a trek for the search of the chimpanzees and once you have spotted a group, you will spend one hour with them observing their different behaviors and you will also spot other primates in the forest. After the chimpanzee trekking experience you will awarded a chimpanzee tracking certificate and after you will return to the lodge for lunch and freshen up. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 3
Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park with an evening visit to the Batwa Community

After your morning breakfast, you will check out of the lodge in Kibale National Park and you will transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for Gorilla Trekking. You will have lunch on the way as you proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will arrive at the lodge in the afternoon where you will check in. You will then embark on a Batwa community experience where you will visit the Batwa people and learn their different ways of living such as how they used to make fire, how they hunted for their food among others. After this experience you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4
Gorilla Trekking In Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After the early morning breakfast, you will proceed to the UWA visitor’s reception where briefing is done before trekking at 7:30am about the dos and don’ts while with the gorillas. Remember to carry your packed lunch and enough drinking water since you may stay in the forest up to afternoon in search of these gentle giants in their natural environment. Gorilla
trekking exercise is physically demanding but an exciting activity! You may need to hire a porter to assist you during trekking and these are readily available at the park headquarters. Time allowed to spend with gorillas is 1 hour when you have found them and this is enough to ask all the questions about their behaviour. After the trekking, you will awarded a Gorilla Tracking Certificate. You will then return to the lodge and freshen up. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 5
Transfer to Entebbe International Airport
Transfer to Entebbe International Airport
After your morning breakfast, you will exit the lodge in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and start your journey to Entebbe International Airport. Along the way you will have a stop at the Equator in Kayabwe for memorable photos and the famous water experiment that show that earth is separated into the Northern and Southern Hemisphere and you will have a chance to enjoy both the hemispheres as you will take so many pictures of the beautiful moments. You will have an en-route lunch and you continue your journey to Entebbe International Airport for your flight. Do not forget to purchase a souvenir for yourself as a remembrance for this wonderful trip.
