Nairobi to Masai Mara

You will make your own way to Wilson Airport for your scheduled morning flight to the Masai Mara. The short scenic flight takes you over the Great Rift Valley before descending into the Mara’s vast plains. Upon arrival at the airstrip, a camp representative will meet you and transfer you to the lodge or camp, with the opportunity to enjoy wildlife viewing along the way. After check-in and lunch, you will head out for an afternoon game drive inside the reserve, exploring the rolling savannah in search of lions, elephants, cheetahs, giraffes, and other iconic wildlife. You return to camp in the early evening to relax, enjoy dinner, and unwind under the African night sky.

Full Day in Masai Mara

After breakfast, you depart for a full day of game viewing in the Masai Mara. Your guide will navigate through prime wildlife areas where animals are most active, giving you excellent chances of witnessing predator action, herds of plains game, and the breathtaking landscapes that define the Mara. A picnic lunch may be enjoyed in the reserve or you may return to camp depending on the camp’s schedule. The afternoon continues with more wildlife encounters before you make your way back to camp to enjoy the evening at leisure.

Masai Mara to Nairobi

After breakfast, you check out and are transferred to the airstrip for your flight back to Nairobi. As your camp is located outside the reserve, there is no morning game drive included on this day. Guests who wish to do an additional early morning game drive may do so at an extra cost, subject to paying Masai Mara park fees for that day, as the park operates on a 12-hour fee policy, not a 24-hour system. Upon arrival at Wilson Airport, you will arrange your own transportation onward.
