Mombasa/Diani – Fly to Masai Mara – Afternoon Game Drive

Your safari begins as you make your own way to either Mombasa or Diani Airport for your scheduled flight to the Masai Mara. Upon landing at the airstrip, you will be warmly received by your camp’s driver-guide and transferred to the lodge or camp. After check-in and lunch, you set out for your afternoon game drive, exploring the vast plains of the Mara and encountering wildlife such as lions, elephants, giraffes, buffalo, and numerous plains game. Later, you return to the camp for dinner and an evening at leisure.

Full Day in Masai Mara

After breakfast, you spend the day exploring the reserve with morning and afternoon game drives conducted by your camp. Your guide will take you through some of the Mara’s most wildlife-rich areas, offering excellent opportunities for photography and sightings of the Big Five. You return to the camp between drives for meals and relaxation. As the day ends, enjoy the warm ambience of the camp, followed by dinner and an overnight stay.

Masai Mara – Fly Back to Mombasa/Diani

After breakfast, you check out and transfer to the airstrip for your flight back to Mombasa or Diani. Since the camp is located outside the main reserve, there is no early morning game drive on this day. Guests wishing to enjoy an additional game drive may do so at an extra cost, subject to paying Masai Mara park fees for that day, as the park fee policy is charged per 12 hours rather than per 24 hours. Upon arrival at the coast, you will make your own arrangements for onward transfers.
