Day 2

After breakfast, embark on a 3-hour drive to Lake Mburo National Park, with a photo stop at the equator. At Mburo, look out for wildlife such as zebras, impalas, and elands, as well as savannah birds like the African finfoot and papyrus bushshrike.

After an early breakfast, set out to track mountain gorillas in Bwindi’s dense jungle. The trek, lasting 2–8 hours depending on the gorillas’ movements, can be challenging over muddy and steep terrain but is incredibly rewarding as you observe, interact, and photograph these gentle giants.
Later, return to the lodge to relax before visiting the Batwa people to learn about their unique culture and way of life.

After breakfast, transfer to Kanyanchu Visitor Center for a briefing about chimp tracking before setting out on a chimpanzee trek through the dense forest. Spend about an hour observing chimpanzees up close. You may also see red-tailed, blue, and black-and-white colobus and L’Hoest’s monkeys, as well as elephants, antelopes, and Cape buffaloes.
You will return to the lodge afterward for lunch and afternoon relaxation.

Enjoy an early morning breakfast, then embark on an early morning game drive through the different tracks to catch predators and early-rising wildlife such as lions, leopards, jackals, hyenas, giraffes, elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, and more. Return to the lodge for lunch.

In the afternoon, take a boat ride on the Victoria Nile to the bottom of the falls to spot hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, elephants, and abundant waterbirds, including fish eagles and the rare shoebill, etc. Later, visit the top of the falls for breathtaking views of the Nile River and the park before returning to the lodge.

Wake up early and enjoy breakfast before departing for Entebbe International Airport. You will stopover at Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a 1–2 hour rhino tracking experience, depending on their location.

Later proceed with a drive to Entebbe. Depending on your schedule, your guide will either drop you at the airport for departure or at your reserved hotel for an overnight stay.
