1-Day Africa's Garden of Eden Safari - Ngorongoro Trip

Your adventure begins early in the morning with a scenic drive through rolling highlands and Maasai villages as you ascend into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. After reaching the crater rim, you are greeted by breathtaking panoramic views of one of the world’s largest intact volcanic calderas UNESCO World Heritage Site. You then descend 600 meters into the crater, entering a natural sanctuary often referred to as the “Garden of Eden.” Here, the landscapes shift from open savannah to acacia forests, freshwater springs, and the shallow but wildlife-rich Lake Magadi. During your game drive, you can expect to encounter large herds of zebras and wildebeests, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, hyenas, and if lucky the famously elusive black rhino. Lions are commonly seen lounging in the grasslands or stalking prey nearby. A picnic lunch is usually enjoyed at a designated spot within the crater, surrounded by astonishing scenery and close-up wildlife viewing. Later you will drive back to Arusha.
