Lake Manyara National Park Game Drive

On this day we will enjoy a beautiful game drive in Lake Manyara National Park, exploring its lush forests, open plains, and the stunning lakeshore. The park is full of wildlife, including elephants, zebras, giraffes, and a variety of bird species. With its rich scenery and calm atmosphere, Manyara offers a perfect introduction to Tanzania’s diverse landscapes and wildlife.

Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive

Rise and shine! It’s an early departure for us today to the lush highlands of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and one of the seven wonders of Africa. Once we have reached the crater rim, we rumble down a steep track into the 600 m deep caldera, noting our passage through several climatic zones, to see a range of animals and birds. The caldera (collapsed volcano) is home to over 25,000 mammals ranging from the “Big Five”, lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, leopard, to hippo, wildebeest, zebra, hyena, and more than 500 species of birds.
After an extensive game drive and a picnic lunch in the crater, we will return to Arusha arriving early in the evening.
