Day 1

Experience an unforgettable cultural adventure with Swahili Safari Escape. Your day begins at 6:45 AM as you meet the Hadzabe, one of the last hunter-gatherer tribes. From 6:45 to 9:30 AM, join them as they hunt or gather using traditional bows, arrows, and traps. You may participate or simply watch their unique skills. After a light refreshment, enjoy time learning about their traditions, beliefs, and daily life.

At 10:30 AM, travel to the Datoga tribe, arriving around 11:00 AM. Here, skilled blacksmiths will demonstrate their traditional metalworking techniques. From 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, explore their culture, crafts, and customs. Enjoy a traditional Datoga lunch from 1:00 to 2:00 PM, with opportunities to learn about their farming lifestyle and even join a cultural dance or song.

If time allows, take a short village visit or nature walk before returning to Arusha around 4:00 PM.
