Tarangire National Park

You will be picked up from your hotel and driven to Tarangire National Park, a landscape known for its giant baobab trees, bush savannah, and seasonal marshes. Tarangire is one of the best places to see elephants up close, and it also hosts buffaloes, zebras, and wildebeests, often trailed by predators like lions. Leopards appear occasionally, while cheetahs are rarely seen. From the open roof of your safari vehicle, you can enjoy wide views of the scenery and wildlife. In the late afternoon, you will leave the park and continue to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2
Ngorongoro Crater
Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, you’ll set off for Ngorongoro to enjoy an exciting wildlife adventure inside the famous Ngorongoro Crater, bringing along a packed lunch for the day. The crater is truly a remarkable sight—often described as a giant natural bowl formed by a collapsed volcano. Within its walls lives an incredible concentration of wildlife, with around 30,000 animals that remain there throughout the year. As you explore, you may spot buffaloes, lions, elephants, cheetahs, and even the highly endangered black rhino.
The crater is also a haven for birdlife, hosting a wide variety of species such as flamingos, eagles, and buzzards. With its rich landscapes and dense wildlife population, Ngorongoro offers one of the best opportunities to see a large number of animals in a relatively short time. Get ready for an unforgettable day surrounded by nature at its finest.

Day 3
Lake Manyara National Park
Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, you will make your way to Lake Manyara National Park. This beautiful reserve is centered around the lake of the same name, which attracts large colonies of waterbirds. The pink flamingos are especially striking, but you can also spot cormorants, pelicans, storks, and many other species—around 400 different kinds in total. Lake Manyara is also known for its tree-climbing lions, often seen in the central, more open areas of the park. As you explore, you may encounter elephants, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, hippos, and many other animals. In the late afternoon, you will leave the park and return to Arusha.
