Arrival & Game Drive at Tarangire National Park

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our airport team, who will assist you with visa procedures and luggage collection. You’ll then enjoy refreshing welcome drinks as you meet your professional driver-guide, who will accompany you throughout your safari.
After a short introduction, you will begin your journey to Tarangire National Park, where your adventure starts with a scenic game drive and a picnic lunch inside the park.
Named after the Tarangire River which serves as the only reliable water source for wildlife during the dry season, the park is renowned for its impressive elephant herds, majestic baobab trees, and the rare tree-climbing African pythons. As you explore, you’ll have the opportunity to observe a wide variety of wildlife drawn to the river’s life-sustaining waters.
Following your game drive, you will head to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay, ready to continue your safari journey the next day.

Lake Manyara National Park – Back Arusha/Kilimanjaro International Airport

After breakfast, your safari guide will pick you up from your lodge or hotel and transfer you to Lake Manyara National Park for a full day of game viewing with a picnic lunch. After completing your game drive, your driver-guide will proceed to transfer you to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport for your onward flight or journey to your next destination, marking the end of your safari.
Lake Manyara National Park covers approximately 330 sq. km (about 127 sq. miles), of which up to 200 sq. km (77 sq. miles) consists of a soda lake when water levels are high. The park is renowned for its exceptional birdlife and rich ecosystem, offering opportunities to observe a variety of wildlife including elephants, giraffes, zebras, baboons, warthogs, buffaloes, and the famous tree-climbing lions. During the game drive, you will also have the chance to step out at the hippo pool a perfect spot to stretch your legs and watch hippos in their natural habitat.
