Journey to To Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

At 8:00am, we will begin our drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The journey from Kampala to the park takes approximately 7 to 8 hours. Along the way, we will have several stops—first, we will stop at Endiro cafe in Mpingi for coffee and restroom breaks. Then, we will visit the Equator to take photos and shop for souvenirs.

We will have lunch in Mbarara town along the way or possibly even earlier, depending on how everyone feels. After lunch, we will continue our trip to Kabale, where we will check into our lodge for the night.

Gorilla Tracking

This is the day of your gorilla-tracking experience. At 7:45 am, you will be at the office of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest for a pre-briefing, and at 8:30 am, you will start the trek. After locating the gorillas, you will spend a maximum of 1 hour with them. All visitors are expected back to the starting point by 7 pm. Being physically fit is recommended.

Game Drive in Queen Elizabeth NP and Boat Cruise on the Nile

After your incredible gorilla trekking experience the previous day, today begins with a 7:00 am breakfast before checking out. We continue your Uganda safari with a game drive through another sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, exploring fresh terrain and searching for lions, elephants, buffaloes, and other wildlife. Later, enjoy a three-hour Kazinga Channel boat cruise, known for its hippos, crocodiles, and birdlife. After the cruise, we head to the lodge to relax and spend the night.

After breakfast, we will check out of the rooms and drive to Kampala or Entebbe. We will stop at Fort Portal for lunch before continuing to your lodge in Entebbe or Kampala.
