Day 1

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

We will pick you up from your hotel, and after meeting your guide and chef, set off on a 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its diverse landscapes and iconic ancient Baobab trees. Home to the largest concentration of elephants in Tanzania, the park offers unique chances to observe elephant families interacting in their natural habitat.

Enjoy an exciting game drive, spotting herbivores like giraffes, zebras, and wildebeest, and if lucky, predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards. Stop at the Tarangire River picnic site for lunch with a beautiful view of the river and wildlife watch out for playful monkeys and baboons trying to sneak your snacks!

After lunch, continue the afternoon game drive, exiting the park around 4:30 PM, then head to your campsite in Mto Wa Mbu for an evening of relaxation under the African sky.

Day 2

Mto wa Mbuu to Serengeti National Park

Mto wa Mbuu to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, depart from Mto Wa Mbu for a scenic 6-hour drive to Serengeti National Park, passing through the stunning Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Stop briefly at the Ngorongoro Crater viewpoint to admire the breathtaking landscapes (20 minutes). You may also visit a Maasai village to learn about the tribe’s fascinating traditions.

Continue to the Serengeti, covering 14,750 km², famous for the great wildebeest and zebra migration. Our focus will be Seronera, the park’s heart. Arrive in the late afternoon, enjoy lunch, then embark on a game drive in Seronera. Experience the Serengeti sunset, spot wildlife, and if lucky, witness predators hunting. Return to Seronera campsite for dinner and overnight stay, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the wild, completing an unforgettable day in Tanzania’s iconic safari wilderness.

On this day, we will explore different parts of the Serengeti north, south, east, or west depending on wildlife movements. After an early breakfast, head out for a thrilling morning game drive, spotting zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, and if lucky, predators in action. Stop for lunch, then continue the afternoon game drive through the vast plains, enjoying the sights, sounds, and sunsets of the Serengeti. Return to your campsite for dinner and overnight stay, where wildlife may even wander close by, offering a truly immersive safari experience.

Day 4

Wake up early around 6:00 AM, enjoy a hot cup of coffee, and head out for a morning game drive in Seronera, the heart of Serengeti National Park. Experience the magic of the sunrise over the endless plains, when wildlife is most active. The early morning can be cool, so warm clothing is recommended.

Continue game viewing until mid-day, then return to camp for a hearty brunch (breakfast and lunch combined). Afterwards, depart toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying a scenic game drive en route. Arrive at Ngorongoro Simba Campsite in the evening for dinner and overnight stay, surrounded by breathtaking highland views.

Day 5

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

On the final day of your Tanzania safari, enjoy breakfast before departing with a picnic lunch toward the Ngorongoro Crater. Descend 650 meters to the crater floor for a rewarding half-day game drive. This natural wildlife sanctuary is home to year-round resident animals, thanks to its permanent water sources, and with a bit of luck, you may even spot the rare black rhinoceros.

After lunch inside the crater, ascend back to the rim, collect the camping equipment, and begin the scenic drive back to Arusha, marking the end of your 5-day Tanzania safari adventure.
