Game Drive inside Tarangire National Park

Your guide will meet you at the agreed meeting point to begin your drive towards Tarangire NP. Tarangire NP is renowned for its large elephant herds, towering baobab trees, and the life-giving Tarangire River, which attracts animals year-round. You will enjoy an extensive game drive, with excellent chances to see lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, and a wide variety of bird species.

Your guide will focus on prime wildlife areas and share insights into animal behavior and the park’s unique ecosystem. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed inside the park, allowing you to remain immersed in nature throughout the day. In the late afternoon, you will exit Tarangire and drive toward the lush highlands of Karatu.

On arrival, you will check in at Bougainvillea Safari Lodge, set in beautifully landscaped gardens. Enjoy dinner and a comfortable overnight stay as you prepare for the next day’s safari experience.

Game Drive inside the Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, you will depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and ascend the crater rim, where breathtaking views open across the vast caldera below. You will then descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the world’s most extraordinary wildlife destinations and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, a Site that supports an incredible concentration of wildlife within its enclosed ecosystem.

Enjoy a full game drive across the crater floor, exploring open grasslands, acacia woodlands, and seasonal lakes. Wildlife sightings may include lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, and a rich variety of birdlife. With luck, you may also spot the endangered black rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch near a hippo pool, allowing time to relax while observing the surroundings.

In the afternoon, you will ascend the crater walls and begin your drive back to Arusha or transfer directly to the airport, bringing your safari experience to a memorable conclusion.
