Arrival and Welcome to Tanzania

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be warmly greeted by our representative, who will assist with your luggage and escort you to your hotel in Arusha, Tanzania’s safari capital.

The remainder of the day is at leisure, allowing you to relax and recover from your journey. Depending on your arrival time, you may enjoy the peaceful lodge gardens or unwind by the pool. In the evening, savor a delightful welcome dinner, where you will meet your safari guide and receive a brief overview of the adventure ahead.

Your Tanzanian safari begins in earnest tomorrow as you set off to explore the breathtaking landscapes and rich wildlife of Tarangire National Park.

Tarangire National Park

After an early breakfast, you will be picked up from your lodge at 7:30 AM by your safari guide and begin a scenic two-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. The journey winds through charming rural villages, local farmlands, and offers sweeping views of the Great Rift Valley.

Upon arrival, enjoy your first game drive through Tarangire’s rolling savannahs, iconic ancient baobab trees, and seasonal swamps. The park is famed for its large elephant herds and rich wildlife, including lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and a remarkable variety of birdlife.

A picnic lunch will be served inside the park, followed by an afternoon game drive before returning to your lodge. In the evening, unwind over dinner and settle in for an overnight stay, accompanied by the gentle sounds of the African wilderness.

Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and enjoy a morning game drive on the crater floor. Spot wildlife such as elephants, lions, zebras, buffalo, and possibly the rare black rhino, while the diverse habitats host numerous bird species.

Enjoy a picnic lunch by the hippo pool before ascending the crater and traveling toward Karatu, with chances to see wildebeest and zebras on the plains. Arrive at your lodge in time to relax, watch the sunset, and enjoy dinner.

8:00 AM: After breakfast at your lodge, depart for Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its diverse ecosystems.
