Day 2

Today’s trek crosses the Saddle between Mawenzi and Kibo, a lunar-like alpine desert offering an otherworldly experience. Marvel at the open plains and distant glaciers as you approach Kibo Hut, your base camp for the final summit attempt. Arrive in the afternoon to rest, hydrate, and mentally prepare for the challenging ascent ahead.

Upon arrival at Marangu Gate, receive your official Kilimanjaro summit certificate and celebrate with your guides and fellow climbers. Transfer back to Moshi or Arusha, completing a peaceful yet challenging Northern Kilimanjaro adventure.
