Tarangire is famous for its abundance of ancient baobab trees and has the highest concentration of elephants in the nation! You will get a close-up look at these massive creatures and see the interactions between many elephant families. We will monitor reports of animal sightings during the game drive. There are many herbivores, such as giraffes, zebras, and wildebeest. Leopards, cheetahs, and lions are the more elusive predators. Day 3

Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Crater

We will leave for Ngorongoro Crater early in the morning after breakfast. Ngorongoro Crater appears to be a forgotten planet when you first see it. Large families of lions and the critically endangered black rhino will be visible to you. Two to three million years ago, a massive volcano exploded and crashed in on itself, creating the Crater. In addition to being a natural reserve with some of the densest concentrations of large mammals in all of Africa, it is renowned for its geological wonders. The drive into the Crater is an adventure in and of itself, and once you get to the bottom of the Crater, you'll be surrounded by over 500 different species of birds, zebras, gazelles, and wildebeest. The endangered black rhino, which can occasionally be seen in the open grass, is most likely to be observed in the Crater. Travel to the Serengeti National Park by car after packing a meal. You will spend the night at Anantya Serengeti Camp after dinner.

Central Serengeti to Karatu

Central Serengeti to Karatu

At around 6:30 am, we will start our game-viewing drive after enjoying an early breakfast once more. You will have six to seven hours to explore this amazing park. Although the Serengeti is home to a wide variety of animals, including impala, buffalo, crocodiles, and hippos, it is most famous for its massive migrating herds of zebras (250,000), wildebeests (1.5 million!), and antelopes (half a million). The amount of rainfall determines the animals' journey, which changes every year. Predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards may also be seen going about their brutal business. We'll drive back to Karatu at about 2:00 pm, where we'll have dinner in a superbly furnished restaurant at our carefully chosen mid-range partner resort. If we want to unwind, there will be a swimming pool, a digestif by the fire beneath the boundless African sky, and our spacious chambers waiting for us for a restful night and wild cat dreams! We'll spend the night at Suricata Boma Lodge.

Main Destination:

Lake Manyara National Park

The Lodge will provide an early breakfast. After that, we'll go to Lake Manyara National Park. Named after the shallow salt lake that takes up over 70% of the park's area, Manyara is a relatively small yet diversified park located 120km west of Arusha. This soda lake, which floods and dries seasonally, is home to over 500 different bird species and thousands of flamingos. Monkeys, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffalo, and elephants will all be visible to us as we explore the park. The park is renowned for its varied topography, which includes baobab-dotted cliffs, primate-filled woodlands, and broad grassy plains. We'll pack a lunch and head back to Arusha. Our journey is unavoidably coming to an end.
