Tarangire National Park
Tarangire National Park
Early in the morning following breakfast. Our destination is Tarangire National Park. The Tarangire River, which flows through the park, is the source of its name. During the dry season, the only water source for the local wildlife is this "river of warthogs. There are areas with dense vegetation, such as acacia woodlands and elephant grass. Elephant families, which are frequently spotted gathering along the river, are the park's most famous feature. Additionally, you might spot hartebeest, bushbuck, and giraffes. Many predators, including as lions and leopards, closely pursue these creatures. Tarangire National Park is home to the greatest number of bird nesting species worldwide. Tarangire, the home of Tanzania's largest elephant population, is the greatest location to witness these gentle giants in their own environment, from the cute calves to the formidable bulls. We head to Neptune Ngorongoro, our lodging, for supper and the night after packing a lunch.

Serengeti National Park
Head to the Serengeti, the world's most famous national park, after an early breakfast. Despite its length, the driving itself is amazing. Anyone who sees it for the first time will have an unforgettable experience. You'll understand why the name means "endless plains" in the native tongue when you travel far into the Serengeti. The plains will stretch to the horizon for the majority of the park's 6,900 square miles (18,000 square kilometers), confounding your senses and impression of distance. It is home to hundreds of thousands of zebras, two million wildebeests, several antelope species, and the great migration. In terms of big cats and predators, this park is the best site to keep an eye out for lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas. Numerous television scenes, including the well-known River Crossings, were shot there.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
In order to take an early morning game drive (when the animals are more active) and view one of the most breathtaking sunrises you'll ever see, we recommend getting up very early on this particular day. Following the game drive, we'll head back to the camp for a satisfying brunch before visiting Ngorongoro, the eighth wonder of the natural world. The crater, which is 102 square miles in size and has walls that are 2,000 feet high, is essentially Noah's ark and is home to nearly every species of fauna that is native to East Africa. It is one of the very few places on the entire continent where you can see a black rhino. The crater features broad plains, a forest, a soda lake with a high concentration of flamingos, a river, and many wetlands. It is particularly well-known for its elephants, which have enormous tusks and are the biggest in the world. A true wonder of the natural world is Ngorongoro Crater.
