Your safari begins early in the morning with a scenic drive from Dar Es Salaam to Nyerere National Park, passing through picturesque villages, lush countryside, and rolling landscapes. Upon arrival, you'll check into your lodge and enjoy a delicious lunch before relaxing.

Later in the afternoon, embark on a spectacular boat safari along the Rufiji River, the park's signature experience. Glide past enormous crocodiles basking on the riverbanks, pods of hippos wallowing in the water, and an incredible variety of water birds including fish eagles, kingfishers, herons, and storks. As the sun begins to set, the river transforms into a golden paradise, offering unforgettable photography opportunities.

Cultural Experience – Maasai Village Visit & Departure

Experience the Wild on Foot

After an early breakfast, enjoy a guided walking safari accompanied by an armed ranger. This unique experience offers a completely different perspective of the African bush as you learn to identify animal tracks, medicinal plants, insects, birds, and the smaller wonders often missed during vehicle safaris.

Following the walk, return to the lodge for refreshments before beginning your scenic drive back to Dar Es Salaam. Arrive in the late afternoon with unforgettable memories of Southern Tanzania's remarkable wildlife and landscapes.
