Where the Plains Meet the Lake

Depart the Maasai Mara after breakfast and travel through the scenic landscapes of the Great Rift Valley toward Lake Nakuru National Park. Arrive in time for lunch, then head out for an afternoon game drive around the lake and its surrounding woodlands. The park is famous for its rich birdlife, including flamingos, pelicans, and numerous water birds, as well as its thriving populations of black and white rhinos. Keep an eye out for tree-climbing lions, Rothschild’s giraffes, and buffalo. Enjoy panoramic views from elevated viewpoints before returning to your lodge or camp for dinner and an overnight stay, concluding a day of contrasting scenery and unique wildlife encounters.
