Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Your exciting safari adventure begins today! Following breakfast, our team will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha at 7:40 AM. You embark on a scenic 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its vast elephant herds and ancient baobab trees.

As you explore the park in our open-roof vehicle, witness seasonal swamps, expansive savannas, and the wildlife-rich Tarangire River. Look out for a multitude of bird species, graceful giraffes, elegant impalas, zebras, powerful lions, elusive leopards, imposing elands, playful warthogs, and the magnificent elephants Tarangire is famous for.

A delightful picnic lunch will be served at a picturesque spot with breathtaking views, followed by more thrilling game viewing. Late afternoon, you make your way to Farm of Dreams Lodge, where you enjoy a hearty dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.

Full-Day Ngorongoro Crater Safari & Return to Arusha

Today, your adventure begins after a hearty breakfast as you board the safari vehicle at 6:00 AM, setting off for the awe-inspiring Ngorongoro Crater. This extraordinary natural wonder hosts a rich variety of East African wildlife, including the elusive black rhino, which you may be lucky enough to spot. Spanning 260 square kilometres with a diameter of approximately 20 kilometres, exploring the crater’s vast landscapes and diverse habitats will take around 5 to 6 hours.

A scenic picnic lunch at the Hippo Pool adds to the day’s memorable experiences.

After an unforgettable exploration of the crater, you will begin your return journey to Arusha, arriving in town between 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM. Dinner and overnight stay will be at your lodge, rounding off a truly remarkable day in Tanzania’s iconic wilderness.

Materuni Waterfalls, Coffee Tour & Chemka Hot Springs Excursion

Today, you’ll depart at 7:30 AM and journey toward the Kilimanjaro region, passing through the picturesque Kishumundu villages en route to the lush highlands of Materuni. From here, embark on a 45-minute guided hike to a stunning waterfall, followed by an authentic coffee-making experience and a taste of traditional Chagga cuisine.

In the afternoon, continue to Chemka Hot Springs, a serene oasis of crystal-clear, warm waters where you can relax and enjoy a natural pedicure from the playful “doctor fish.” After this rejuvenating experience, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your onward departure, concluding a day of adventure, culture, and relaxation.
