Day 1

Your safari starts with a confirmed pickup at the airport or hotel, then a transfer to the departure point. The safari starts between 8:00 and 8:30 am with a drive via the Great Rift Valley viewpoint to witness the escarpment wall. You'll travel to Narok town for some snacks. You'll have some shopping before the safari continues into the Masai Mara National Reserve, arriving at Rhino Tourist Camp for check-in and lunch. Later in the afternoon, you'll enjoy a game drive until sunset, then return for dinner, a bonfire, and an overnight stay.

Day 2

Masai Mara

Masai Mara

Depart for an early morning game drive. You'll have breakfast at the campsite, then leave with packed picnic lunch boxes for a game drive. You'll search for the Big Five and other wild animals. You'll visit the Mara River, famous for the great migration from the Serengeti to this park. You will receive a brief explanation from an armed guide about the river's history. You'll break for a picnic lunch in the open wilderness and continue with the search until late evening. Return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3

Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru National Park

Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, you will visit a local Maasai village for a cultural tour and an opportunity to interact with the community. This is an optional activity. You'll meet the community at their homesteads and enjoy the Maasai dances. Later, you will check out and drive via Narok with great views of the Rift Valley, arriving at the budget Nakuru hotel in the early evening. You'll have an optional activity of a boat ride on Lake Naivasha on your way to Nakuru. You'll check in and enjoy the evening at Buraha Zenoni to spice up the safari experience. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Buraha Zenoni.

After breakfast at the budget Nakuru hotel, you'll check out and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park for at least 4 hours’ game drive. Lake Nakuru National Park is one of the most beautiful national parks in Kenya. The national park is home to many bird species, offering you sweet, melodious sounds. Lake Nakuru National Park is also home to the endangered black and white rhinoceros. Before noon, you'll exit the park and drive to Amboseli National Park. You'll arrive at Amboseli Nyati Safari Camp in the late evening for check-in, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day 5

Amboseli

Amboseli

You'll have an African-style breakfast at the campsite, with expansive views of Mount Kilimanjaro, if the weather permits. By 8:00 am, you'll leave the campsite for a full-day safari experience across Amboseli National Park. You'll traverse the Amboseli plains with a game drive. You'll visit the Amboseli viewpoint for thrilling views and continue the game search until you reach the base of Mount Kilimanjaro. By 5:00 pm, after a great Amboseli National Park experience, you'll exit the park and drive to the campsite for at least 2 hours of an optional activity. Dinner, a bonfire, and an overnight stay will be at the same campsite.

Day 6

After an early breakfast at the campsite, you'll check out and drive to Amboseli National Park for a game drive en route to the Namanga border (2.5 hours). You'll drive from Amboseli Kimana Gate to Amboseli Mashenani Gate. You'll exit the park and drive to the Namanga border for immigration and health matters. At around 10:00 am, the shuttle from Nairobi will pick you up for a drive to Arusha Town, where the Kenya and Tanzania budget wildlife safari will continue for 4 days as you cover the northern Tanzania park. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at The Charity Hotel Arusha.

Our professional driver-guide will meet you at The Charity Hotel in the morning for a briefing. You'll depart Arusha with packed picnic lunches and drive to Lake Manyara for the sightseeing of the day. Lake Manyara is a soda ash lake that consists of huge flocks of flamingos and offers breathtaking scenery. The park is also known for its tree-climbing lions, large numbers of elephants, giraffes, zebras, waterbucks, warthogs, baboons, and lesser-known wildlife such as dik-diks and klipspringers. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Fanaka Campsite.

Our safari continues to Serengeti National Park. After breakfast, you will head to Serengeti via the Olduvai Gorge Museum, where early man appeared a million years ago. Upon arrival, you will head to the Serengeti National Park, which is widely known for the great migration of wildebeest. The plains are also home to a resident population of elephants, cheetahs, lions, giraffes, and birds. Your dinner and overnight stay will be in the temporarily fixed tents at Central Seronera Campsite.

After breakfast, you will have your final game drive in Serengeti National Park, known for the great wildebeest migration and many animals. You'll visit the Serengeti kopjes in search of a pride of lions. You will enjoy a picnic lunch, then exit Serengeti National Park and drive to the Ngorongoro Conservancy area. You'll have an optional visit to the local community, dinner, a bonfire, and an overnight stay at Simba Campsite.

On this day, after breakfast, you'll leave with a packed lunch and descend 600 m into the Ngorongoro Crater for a 6-hour game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater has a stunning landscape consisting of vast expanses of woodlands, savannah forests, and highlands, combined with a high concentration of wildlife, which makes it one of the most beautiful natural wonders in the world. Later, you'll drive back to Arusha with a drop-off at Arusha or Kilimanjaro airport.
