Arrival in Kigali & Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

Arrival of your flight at Kigali International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative who will assist with immigration procedures and luggage collection before handing you over to your driver guide. You have an option to visit the Kigali Memorial center before transferring to Bwindi via Cyanika boarder. The drive is approximately 5 hours, arrive and be assisted to check in.

Rest of the evening is at leisure of go for a community experience.

Gorilla Trekking Experience

After an early breakfast and briefing from the guides, set off for the Mountains gorilla trekking inside the Bwindi Forest. You will need to carry drinking water, rain jacket and hiking boots while the rangers will provide you with a walking stick. Gorilla trekking is one of the unique activities you will enjoy while photographing and observing the gorillas.

Later descen and return to the lodge, freshen up and have lunch.

Departure

On this day, you will check out and settle any extras and proceed on a scenic drive back to Kigali. Depending on your departure schedule, you will have an option to do some last minute souvenir shopping before for departure heading to the airport for departure.
