1-Day Kilimanjaro Hike for Scenic View & Photography

You will be picked up from your hotel in Moshi and drive to the Lendorosi gate. After a brief stop for registration and briefings, you'll begin your Mount Kilimanjaro day hike.

This trek passes through lush montane rainforest - with towering trees, hanging moss, giant ferns, and vibrant birdlife. You may spot black-and-white colobus monkeys moving through the canopies. You will then leave the forest behind as the landscape transitions into moorland and heather. The trail climbs steadily, with the first open views of the Shira Plateau.

Beginning point: Lendorosi gate - 2,100m amsl
Ending point: Shira 1 Camp - 3,500m amsl

At the Shira 1 Camp, your guide will take you to a point with clearer view of the Kibo peak, where you'll have adequate chances to take plenty of amazing photos. This day hike ensuring a rewarding experience without pushing deep into high-altitudes.

Afterwards, we'll begin descending back to the gate, then you'll be transferred back to your hotel in Moshi.
