Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast in Arusha, depart for Tarangire National Park, renowned for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and rich wildlife. Enjoy a full-day game drive through the park, exploring riverbanks and open savannahs where you may spot lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and a wide variety of bird species. A picnic lunch will be served inside the park. In the late afternoon, drive to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, depart Tarangire and drive toward the Ndutu area in the southern Serengeti ecosystem. Upon arrival, begin game drives around Lake Ndutu, where vast herds of wildebeest gather during the calving season. This area offers exceptional wildlife viewing, including newborn calves and predators such as lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and leopards. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush before continuing game viewing in the afternoon.

Full Day Game Drive in Lake Ndutu

Spend a full day exploring the Ndutu plains, the heart of the Great Migration calving season. Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives with a picnic lunch in the wilderness, allowing you to maximize your time in this extraordinary ecosystem. Return to camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Ndutu to Ngorongoro Crater – Return to Arusha

After an early breakfast, depart Ndutu for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive in one of Africa’s most remarkable wildlife destinations, home to elephants, lions, buffalo, hippos, flamingos, and the endangered black rhinoceros. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor before ascending and driving back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon, marking the end of your safari.
