Day 1

Tarangire National Park

Your safari adventure starts today! You'll be picked up from your hotel after breakfast around 8 am and drive for 2 hours to Tarangire National Park. When you arrive, the guide checks in for your 7-8 hours of game drive. As you enter Tarangire National Park, you will come across its famous giant baobab trees scattered across the park and large populations of elephants that roam freely across the park. Tarangire is also home to many other wildlife species such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and bird species. In the afternoon, you will pause for a picnic lunch at the Matete picnic site, overlooking the Tarangire River, which is an important source of water for animals during the dry season. After lunch, you'll proceed with the game drive until evening, when you bid farewell to the park and drive to your accommodation for an overnight stay.

Day 2

Central Serengeti

Central Serengeti

Following breakfast at your lodge in Karatu, drive off towards Central Serengeti. The 4-5hrs journey takes you through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, and you'll enjoy game en route. You'll arrive in Central Serengeti in time for lunch, and after lunch, enjoy an evening gamedrive. You'll spot an incredible number of wildlife such as zebras, giraffes, impalas, gazelles, etc. This is also a good time to spot nocturnal animals such as lions, leopards and hyenas who prefer cooler hours of the day to hunt. After gamedrive drive to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3

Ndutu (Southern Serengeti)

Today you'll wake up early, and you can opt to pack your breakfast or enjoy it at the lodge. The gamedrive will start early, before sunrise, visiting different parts of the central Serengeti, which is widely known for its high density of lions and other Big cats. Our professional guide will ensure you enjoy this part of your journey. As the day progresses, slowly begin your journey towards the Southern Serengeti (Ndutu). You'll arrive in time for lunch and evening gamedrive. During calving season (Dec-Mar), millions of wildebeests gather here and give birth to their young ones. As the sun sets slowly drive to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4

Following breakfast, enjoy an incredible full-day game drive in Southern Serengeti. Southern Serengeti, famously known as Ndutu, is widely known as the birthplace of the wildebeest. Here, millions of wildebeest are born from December to March. This tends to attract large predators such as lions, who are after an easy meal. In the afternoon, pause for a picnic lunch in a carefully selected area in the bush surrounded by sights and sounds of nature. After lunch, proceed with a game drive until evening, when you'll drive back to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5

Ngorongoro Crater

Today, you wake up early before sunrise and enjoy breakfast. After breakfast, you'll depart for Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive. Upon arrival, you'll descend into the Crater with breathtaking views of the Crater walls and sunrise. Ngorongoro Crater is a unique place, home to a diverse population of animals, including the famous Big Five animals of Africa (Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo, and Leopard). The Crater is one of the few places where you have a very good chance of spotting the rare Black Rhino. If you are lucky, you'll see one on this trip! In the afternoon, you'll enjoy lunch at the hippo pool picnic site, surrounded by sights and sounds of nature. After lunch, proceed with a game drive until evening, when you ascend the Crater and drive back to Arusha.
