After breakfast, your professional Shengena Adventure safari guide will pick you up from your accommodation and begin the smooth two-and-a-half-hour drive to Tarangire National Park on well-maintained tarmac roads. On arrival, you will explore one of Tanzania’s most unique wildlife destinations.
Tarangire is celebrated as Tanzania’s elephant paradise, hosting some of the country’s largest elephant herds. During the dry season, wildlife gathers along the Tarangire River the park’s only permanent water source creating outstanding viewing opportunities. Alongside elephants, you may spot giraffes, bushbucks, hartebeests, zebras and wildebeest, with lions and leopards often in the area. The park also features exceptional birdlife and iconic ancient baobab trees, some over a thousand years old. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed at a designated site within the park surrounded by stunning natural scenery.

You will then continue through the conservation area en route to the Central Serengeti National Park. The Serengeti is world-renowned for its vast open plains and exceptional wildlife viewing, including the spectacular annual migration of wildebeest, zebras, and antelopes. Golden sunsets paint the horizon, and the gentle rustle of the grasslands accompanies encounters with majestic predators and grazing herbivores. This morning, you will journey to Lake Manyara National Park, your final destination on this epic safari. Despite its compact size, the park offers incredible diversity, from the towering Great Rift Escarpment to the shimmering shallow salt lake that expands and recedes with the seasons. Thousands of wading birds, including flamingos and over 500 other species, grace the waters, while elephants, baboons, and the famous tree-climbing lions roam the forested areas.
After exploring the park, enjoy a cultural experience in Mto wa Mbu, interacting with local communities and gaining insight into traditional village life, making your day a perfect blend of wildlife adventure and authentic Tanzanian culture.
