After breakfast, your professional Shengena Adventure safari guide will pick you up from your accommodation and begin the smooth two-and-a-half-hour drive to Tarangire National Park on well-maintained tarmac roads. On arrival, you will explore one of Tanzania’s most unique wildlife destinations.

Tarangire is celebrated as Tanzania’s elephant paradise, hosting some of the country’s largest elephant herds. During the dry season, wildlife gathers along the Tarangire River the park’s only permanent water source creating outstanding viewing opportunities. Alongside elephants, you may spot giraffes, bushbucks, hartebeests, zebras and wildebeest, with lions and leopards often in the area. The park also features exceptional birdlife and iconic ancient baobab trees, some over a thousand years old. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed at a designated site within the park surrounded by stunning natural scenery.
