Day 2
Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart Arusha for Tarangire National Park, famous for its vast landscapes, towering baobab trees and large elephant populations. Enjoy a full-day game drive through open savannah, acacia woodland and riverine areas along the Tarangire River, which attracts wildlife throughout the year. The crater floor supports a dense population of animals, including black rhinos, lions, buffalo, elephants, hippos and hyenas. Flamingos and other water birds gather around the soda lake. Enjoy a picnic lunch near the hippo pool before continuing your game drive. In the afternoon, ascend the crater rim and transfer to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
