Depending on your arrival time, you may enjoy a short walk around the lodge or simply unwind by the garden or pool. Day 2
Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, renowned for its vast savannahs, iconic baobab trees and large elephant herds. Enjoy a full-day game drive through diverse habitats including open plains, acacia woodland and riverine areas along the Tarangire River. Wildlife sightings may include lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo and an impressive variety of birdlife. Stop for a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing your afternoon safari. Later in the day, transfer to your lodge or tented camp near Tarangire for dinner and overnight.

Following breakfast, travel to Lake Manyara National Park, a compact yet remarkably diverse park set beneath the Great Rift Valley escarpment. Enjoy a game drive through lush groundwater forests, open grasslands and lakeshore wetlands. Look for the famous tree-climbing lions, large troops of baboons, elephants and buffalo. The alkaline lake attracts flamingos, pelicans and other water birds, creating excellent photographic opportunities. Enjoy lunch before continuing your exploration of the park. In the late afternoon, drive to your lodge for dinner and overnight, surrounded by beautiful Rift Valley scenery.

After breakfast, depart the Serengeti and drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s most extraordinary wildlife destinations. The crater floor supports a dense population of animals, including black rhinos, lions, buffalo, elephants, hippos and hyenas. Flamingos and other water birds gather around the soda lake. Enjoy a picnic lunch near the hippo pool before continuing your game drive. In the afternoon, ascend the crater rim and transfer to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
