Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), where you will be warmly met by your professional safari guide and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart Arusha for Tarangire National Park, famous for its ancient baobab trees and one of Tanzania’s largest elephant populations. Enjoy a full-day game drive through open savannah, acacia woodland and riverine habitats along the Tarangire River, which attracts abundant wildlife year-round. Look out for lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo and a wide variety of bird species. Stop for a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing your afternoon safari. In the late afternoon, drive to your lodge or tented camp near Tarangire for dinner and overnight.

Lake Manyara National Park & Departure at Kilimanjaro International Airport

After breakfast, depart the Serengeti and drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a final safari experience. Enjoy a game drive through lush groundwater forests, open plains and lakeshore wetlands beneath the Great Rift Valley escarpment. Look for tree-climbing lions, elephants, baboons and abundant birdlife including flamingos and pelicans.
