Arrival in the Morning & Transfer to Volcanoes National Park

Morning: Arrival at Kigali International Airport, our representative will welcome you and assist through the immigration procedures and luggage collection.

An option to visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial Center (Extra fee for audio visual guide equipment) and later proceed to Musanze.

Lunch, dinner and overnight stay.

Mountain Gorilla Trekking

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the park headquarters for gorilla trekking briefing which starts at 07h00. During the briefing, you are assigned to a specific gorilla group, with a park guide and ranger.

Porters are available at the start point and it's recommended to hire one to support with your backpack during the trek and it's also a way of supporting the local community.

Spend 1 hour with the majestic giants before descending back to the lodge to freshen up and have lunch.

Golden Monkey Trekking/Departure

Early breakfast followed by check out before transferring the park headquarters for briefing. After briefing, transfer to the start point for Golden Monkeys. You are estimated to return by 11h00, freshen up and procced to Kigali with a lunch stop over at a recommended restaurant.
