Day 2
Antananarivo-Andasibe National Park

After breakfast, depart eastward toward Andasibe-Mantadia National Park. The scenic drive passes through the verdant highlands, terraced rice fields, eucalyptus forests, and lively roadside villages that reflect rural Malagasy culture.
Upon arrival in Andasibe, an afternoon guided visit to the Analamazaotra Special Reserve introduces you to the eastern rainforest ecosystem. The focus is on tracking the iconic indri, Madagascar’s largest lemur, renowned for its haunting vocalizations echoing through the forest canopy. Additional sightings may include diademed sifakas, bamboo lemurs, chameleons, orchids, tree frogs, and endemic bird species.
After dinner, embark on a guided nocturnal walk along forest trails, revealing Madagascar’s unique night life such as mouse lemurs, leaf-tailed geckos, night chameleons, frogs, and other nocturnal wildlife.
