Day 1

Your adventure begins with an early morning flight from Zanzibar to Seronera Airstrip in the heart of Serengeti National Park. From the air, you’ll enjoy breathtaking views of Tanzania’s endless savanna dotted with wildlife.

Upon landing, embark on an early morning game drive, when predators are most active and animals are abundant. Watch lions lounging under acacia trees, leopards stealthily moving through the grass, herds of wildebeest migrating, and elephants roaming majestically.

Picnic lunch is served in the park or at the lodge.

In the evening, relax at Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge, a luxury lodge offering panoramic views, elegant rooms, and world-class amenities.

Serengeti Nation Park to Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area via a short scenic flight or drive through beautiful landscapes. Once in the area, enjoy a guided walking safari near the crater rim.

Walking safaris allow you to connect with nature on a more personal level — you’ll track footprints, observe birds and small mammals, and study plants and local ecosystems under the guidance of an experienced safari guide.

Picnic lunch can be enjoyed during the walk or back at the lodge.

Spend the night at Embalakai Camp or another luxury lodge, where cozy tents and stunning views offer a peaceful night after a day immersed in nature.

Wake early for a full day of exploration in the Ngorongoro Crater, often called the “Garden of Eden” of Africa. Descend into the crater for a full-day game drive, home to one of the densest concentrations of wildlife in the world. Look for rare black rhinos, lions, hippos, buffaloes, and zebras against the dramatic crater backdrop.

Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the crater while watching flamingos and other birdlife near the lakes.

In the evening, return to Marera View Lodge, Karatu, a luxury lodge perched with panoramic views of the crater rim — a perfect spot to relax after an unforgettable day.
