Upon arrival at the Kigali International Airport, you will be welcomed by our representative and let to the VIP lounge, you will be assisted with all the immigration procedures and luggage sorting.

Later transfer to the city hotel for overnight stay.

Rwandair Flight to Kamembe/Zipline & Canopy Walk Way

Transfer to Kigali International Airport for a domestic flight to Kamembe departing at 07h00, arriving at 07h40. The driver guide will be waiting to transfer you to the park offices for Zipline & Canopy Walk Way briefing.

Later, transfer to check in at the hotel followed by lunch. The rest of the day is at leisure as you prepare for Chimpanzee tracking the next day.

Chimpanzee Tracking

On this day, you will wake up early to be transferred to the park offices for briefing with your packed breakfast. The Chimpanzee trekking experience is rewarding with scenic views of the forest and you get a chance to see other primates of this Park.

You are allowed to spend 1 hour with them as you watch them play, feed, groom young ones.

At approx. 11h00, return to the hotel to freshen up an have lunch.

Rwandair Flight to Kigali/Road Transfer to Bwindi National Park

After an early breakfast, you will check out and settle any extras before transferring to Kamembe Airport for a flight to Kigali departing at 08h20 arriving at 09h00. Proceed on a scenic road transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park area via Cyanika Border for immigration clearance. Arrive at Gorilla Safari Lodge in the evening and assisted with check in.

Gorilla Trekking & Optional Batwa Community Visit

Early breakfast followed by a transfer to the park headquarters for Gorilla trekking briefing. You will be allocated to a gorilla group and introduced to your park guide. You are recommended to hire a porter to assist with your backpack.

Later, return to the lodge and freshen up followed by lunch. You have an option to visit the Batwa Community Village for a cultural experience (extra).

Breakfast and check out, depending on your departure schedule, you will be transferred back to Kigali via Cyanika border and with lunch at a recommended restaurant. If time permits, you have an option to visit some craft centers for souvenir shopping.
