We’ll pick you up from your hotel or the airport in Arusha in the morning, and on Day 1 you’ll depart between 8:00 am and 8:30 am for the scenic 150 km drive to Tarangire National Park, roughly 2 hours by road. Once inside the park, enjoy a 6-hour game drive through diverse habitats where large elephant herds roam among ancient baobab trees and wide savannah — ideal for spotting lions, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, and abundant bird species. Tarangire is one of northern Tanzania’s most biodiverse safari destinations, with its life-sustaining river and mosaic of ecosystems attracting wildlife year-round. You’ll be served hot lunch inside the park, then continue your afternoon wildlife viewing before transferring to Ngare Lodge for your overnight stay after a full day of unforgettable safari experiences.
