Early in the morning, our driver will pick you up from the airport or your booked accommodations in a safari vehicle and transfer you to Ziwa Rhino and Wildlife Ranch, arriving around midday. At around 6:00 pm, you will set off for rhino tracking with an experienced ranger. The tracking time varies depending on the location of the rhinos, but once found, you will spend about one hour in close proximity to them. After the activity, proceed to the hotel to check in, relax, enjoy dinner, and rest.

Day 2

After breakfast, drive northwards through Karuma Bridge and Gulu, passing landscapes of vast plains and semi-arid savannah framed by jagged mountains and wooded hills. Kidepo is one of the wildest and most spectacular reserves in Africa, which you will discover during this safari. The park’s landscape is dotted with small hills, rocky outcrops, and inselbergs, offering stunning panoramic views in all directions, including the Narus River Valley, and excellent photographic opportunities of wildlife in all corners.
Enjoy an evening game drive along the Narus River Valley for game viewing and photographing elephants, buffaloes, jackals, Jackson’s hartebeest, klipspringers, and possibly lions. Afterwards, proceed to the lodge for check in.

Day 3

After an early breakfast, continue on your safari with a morning game drive through the Narus Valley to Kanangorok Hot Springs. Along the way, you may see a variety of animals, including ostriches, and have the chance to encounter herds of a thousand buffaloes, elephants, cheetahs, and more, set against the peaceful flowing waters of the Narus River. In the afternoon, enjoy a cultural experience with the Karamojong people at Karamoja and Kidepo. Meet local elders and interact with them as they show you their kraals, grinding stones, and other traditional items. Return to the lodge afterwards.

Day 4

In the morning, enjoy a simple, early breakfast followed by a sunrise game drive, with opportunities to spot a variety of animals such as antelopes, lions, and cheetahs in the remote areas of the park. Afterwards, exit the park, traveling through some of Uganda’s most remote zones, observing villages and thatched houses along the way. Continue your journey and spend the night in Masindi.

Day 5
Masindi - Kampala

After an early morning breakfast, depart for Kampala, enjoying a scenic drive through the plains of Nakasongola and observing the various cattle farms along the roadside. Continue to Kampala and proceed to the airport to catch your flight.
