Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be met by your professional driver-guide for a warm welcome and safari briefing. You will then be transferred to your pre-booked hotel in Kampala or Entebbe. If time permits, enjoy a guided Kampala or Entebbe city tour, visiting key historical, cultural, and local landmarks. Dinner and overnight stay will be at your hotel in Kampala.

Day 2

Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park and Nature walk in Bigodi Wetland
After breakfast at your lodge, depart for Kibale Forest National Park, one of Uganda’s top primate destinations, home to over 13 primate species and rich birdlife. Enjoy a scenic drive through rolling countryside and tea plantations en route. Upon arrival, check in and enjoy lunch at your lodge.
In the afternoon, take a guided walk through the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, a community-run conservation area. During the walk, meet local residents, including basket weavers and traditional iron smelters, and spot bird species along with primates like baboons and other forest wildlife.
Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay..

Chimpanzee Trekking and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Chimpanzee Trekking and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After an early breakfast, depart your lodge for Kanyanchu Visitor Centre, the main headquarters for chimpanzee trekking in Kibale Forest National Park. With bottled drinking water, attend a pre-trek briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority guides before starting the chimpanzee tracking experience at around 8:00 am, led by an armed park ranger.
Trek through the forest in search of chimpanzees in their natural habitat, with chances to see other primates such as grey-cheeked mangabeys and L’Hoest’s monkeys, as well as butterflies and forest bird species. After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch, then continue your Uganda safari with a transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
On arrival, check in at your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Wake up to the sounds of birds and enjoy an early breakfast at 6:00 am before heading out for a morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park. Explore the Kasenyi Plains, one of the best areas for wildlife viewing, where you may spot lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, and other early-rising animals.
Later, return to the lodge for lunch and some relaxation. In the afternoon, embark on a scenic boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, a wildlife-rich waterway famous for its large populations of hippos, Nile crocodiles, and diverse birdlife, including kingfishers and pink-backed pelicans. This boat safari is one of the park’s most rewarding experiences. After the cruise, return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park through Ishasha Sector
After breakfast, transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park via the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, famous for its tree climbing lions. Enjoy a mini game drive in Ishasha, spotting wildlife such as elephants, topis, buffaloes, and bird species. Continue to Bwindi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its rich biodiversity and the largest population of endangered mountain gorillas. Arrive in the evening, check in to your lodge, enjoy dinner, and settle in for an overnight stay.

Day 6
Gorilla Tracking
Gorilla Tracking
After an early breakfast at around 6:30 am, transfer to the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park headquarters with a packed lunch. On arrival, you will be registered and receive a pre-trek briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers. At 8:00 am, begin your gorilla tracking experience, entering the mist-covered rainforest accompanied by experienced park rangers.
The trek can last between 2 to 7 hours, depending on the movement of the gorilla family. Reasonable fitness is recommended, and porters are available for hire to assist with carrying bags and provide support during the hike. Once you locate the mountain gorillas, you are allowed one unforgettable hour to observe and photograph them in their natural habitat.
After the trek, return to your lodge to relax. In the evening, you can take a community walk to visit the Batwa communities, where you will learn about their traditions, lifestyle, and culture. Then return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Scenic Drive from Bwindi to Kampala via the Equator
After breakfast, check out of the lodge and embark on the boat ride to the mainland. You will later get set to Kampala with a stopover along the way for lunch and at the Equator to take photographs and purchase some souvenirs. After your lunch, you will continue to Kampala or Entebbe Airport.
