Day 1

Nairobi to Masai Mara

Nairobi to Masai Mara

Your safari starts with a confirmed pickup to meet other tourists and be introduced to your driver-guide at the departure point. Depart Nairobi with a stopover at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint to witness the escarpment wall and take great pictures.

Descend the escarpment and drive to Narok Town or to the camp for lunch. The afternoon is scheduled for relaxation. If you are interested, you can take part in the optional activity of visiting the Maasai village (at an extra cost of $10 per person) or continue with the afternoon game drive (at an extra cost). Dinner and overnight are at the camp.

Day 2

Explore Masai Mara

Explore Masai Mara

After breakfast, you will proceed on a full-day wildlife-viewing tour within the reserve. The landscape here is scenic savannah grassland on rolling hills. The reserve is the best park for game in Kenya, as it has an extensive road and track network, which allows for close-range viewing and photography.

Enjoy the game drive in search of the Big Five (rhino, elephant, lion, leopard and buffalo), including other wildlife and bird species. The driver will help you find a good, safe place to have your picnic lunch. Later, you'll continue with the game drive. Then, you'll head back to your camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3

Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru

Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru

The day is scheduled for an early optional visit to the Maasai people and an exclusive engagement with them. Get to know their ways of living, how they interact with each other and their neighboring communities. In the Maasai village, you will enjoy their dances, have a great view of their houses, and gain a good understanding of their day-to-day activities.

Later, check out and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park with a stopover for a hot lunch. You will have a stop at Lake Naivasha for another optional activity, a boat ride experience. Later, drive to Buraha Zenoni Hotel, check in, and spend the evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight will be catered for.

Day 4

Lake Nakuru to Hell's Gate National Park

Lake Nakuru to Hell's Gate National Park

After an early breakfast, spend the morning in Lake Nakuru National Park, where you have a chance to see flamingos among other birds (about 350 species recorded). The park is also home to the black and the white rhinoceros.

The park has been established to protect endangered species, such as rhinos, and is home to colobus monkeys, leopards, giraffes, and a variety of plains antelope.

Later, depart for nearby Lake Naivasha, with lunch on the way. Do an optional evening boat ride to Crescent Island, then return for dinner and overnight at the hotel.

After an early breakfast, proceed to Hell’s Gate National Park. This is the only park that allows transport by walking and cycling. Later, depart for Nairobi with a hot lunch on the way, arriving in the afternoon. You will be dropped off at the city center or will be transferred to your Nairobi hotel or to the airport at an extra cost.
