Upon arrival at the airport, you will be warmly welcomed by a Termite Tour Travel representative and transferred to your accommodation in Arusha. After check-in, take time to relax and unwind as you prepare for the exciting safari adventures ahead.

Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

In the morning, you will be collected from your accommodation in Arusha by your private, professional safari guide and depart for Tarangire National Park. The drive follows a smooth tarmac road across gently rolling Maasai plains, dotted with acacia trees. Along the way, you may observe Maasai people in their vibrant traditional attire, riding bicycles, and traveling by donkey cart.
Upon arrival in Tarangire, a park renowned for its large elephant populations, you will begin an extensive game drive. From the open roof of your comfortable 4x4 safari vehicle, you will explore seasonal swamps, vast savannahs, and the life-sustaining Tarangire River, which attracts a wide variety of wildlife. Expect to see zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, giraffes, and elephants, with the possibility of spotting lions hunting or leopards resting in the trees.
You will drive to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay, concluding a memorable safari experience.

Day 3

Karatu to Ndutu

Karatu to Ndutu

After breakfast, we leave Karatu and enter the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. We will proceed crossing Ngorongoro Highlands to Ndutu Area and here we'll start the game drive for this day with special attention to the great migration.
The great migration herds aggregate close to Lake Ndutu area between Serengeti and Ngorongoro from December to April, here they find fresh food and big predators waiting for them. From January, it is the beginning of the calving season for wildebeests.

Day 4

Ndutu to Ngorongoro highland

Ndutu to Ngorongoro highland

Early in the morning after breakfast, you will enjoy a final game drive in the Ndutu Area, taking advantage of the best wildlife viewing hours as the plains come alive with activity. Later in the afternoon, you will continue your journey to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Ngorongoro Crater was formed millions of years ago following the collapse of a massive volcano once believed to be taller than Mount Kilimanjaro. The crater is approximately 610 meters deep and covers about 304 square kilometers, supporting one of the highest concentrations of wildlife in Africa, with an estimated 25,000 large mammals.
After your final exploration of Ndutu and the scenic drive to the crater highlands, you will arrive at your accommodation on the crater rim, where you will enjoy dinner and an overnight stay surrounded by breathtaking views.

Day 5

After breakfast, you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable game drive, with a picnic lunch enjoyed on the crater floor. Often described as one of Africa’s greatest natural wonders, Ngorongoro Crater is a must-see highlight of any Tanzanian safari due to its remarkably high concentration of wildlife within a compact area.

As you explore the vast grasslands, swamps, and acacia woodlands, you are likely to encounter large herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles, as well as elephants and buffalo. The crater is also one of the best places in Tanzania to spot the rare and endangered black rhinoceros, while more than 500 bird species add color and life to the landscape.

In the afternoon, you will ascend from the crater and begin your scenic drive back to Arusha. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel of choice or directly to the airport, marking the end of your memorable safari adventure in Tanzania.
