Depart Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After your arrival in Arusha, you will be picked up at the airport by your professional safari guide, who will warmly welcome you. You will enjoy a light breakfast near the airport, followed by a short safari briefing. Thereafter, you will depart on a scenic 1.5-hour drive to Tarangire National Park, famously known as the “Home of Giants” for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees.

Upon entering the park, your safari adventure begins with an exciting game drive across the vast savannah. You will search for elephants, lions, zebras, giraffes, and, with some luck, leopards resting in the trees. The Tarangire River attracts a high concentration of wildlife and creates some of Tanzania’s most picturesque landscapes.

In the late afternoon, you will arrive at your lodge, beautifully positioned to offer views of both sunrise and sunset. After settling in, you will enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge.

Game drive in Ngorongoro Crater

You will wake early to enjoy the sunrise from your room, followed by breakfast at the lodge. At 06:50 AM, you will depart and begin a scenic drive toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Your time in and around the Ngorongoro Crater is likely to be one of the most unforgettable highlights of your safari. After a stop at the crater rim to admire breathtaking panoramic views, you will descend approximately 600 meters to the crater floor. This remarkable natural wonder supports an extraordinary concentration of wildlife, including the critically endangered black rhinoceros, large-tusked elephants, one of the crater’s four resident lion prides, and large clans of spotted hyenas.

After enjoying a picnic lunch inside the crater, you will begin your return journey to Arusha, where your safari comes to an end. You will be dropped off at your hotel or transferred to the airport, depending on your preference.
