Day 2

Transfer to Tarangire National Park for a Game Drive

Transfer to Tarangire National Park for a Game Drive

After an early breakfast at 7:30 AM, you will depart Arusha and drive approximately two hours to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and majestic baobab trees. Arriving mid-morning, you’ll embark on your first game drive, exploring the park’s diverse landscapes and observing elephants, giraffes, lions, zebras, and a rich variety of birdlife.

At 1:30 PM, enjoy a picnic lunch in the heart of the African bush, surrounded by nature, before resuming your afternoon game drive. In the late afternoon, return to your lodge or camp for a relaxing evening and overnight stay.

Northern Serengeti National Park – Full Game Drive

Northern Serengeti National Park – Full Game Drive

On day 3, after breakfast at 7:00 AM, you'll begin the journey to the Northern Serengeti (approximately 4-5 hours drive). Northern Serengeti is famous for its incredible wildlife and, depending on the time of year, the dramatic Mara River Crossing during the Great Migration. One of the best areas to witness the Great Migration (typically between July and October) is the famous Mara River Crossing.
The drive will take you through stunning landscapes. 01:00 PM: Arrival in Northern Serengeti and enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated area in the park. Here, you’ll embark on a full-day game drive, where you’ll have the chance to see the migration if it coincides with your visit, as well as other wildlife such as predators, elephants, and numerous herbivores.

After breakfast at 7:30 AM, you will journey from Northern Serengeti to Central Serengeti, a drive of approximately three hours. Central Serengeti, often considered the heart of the Serengeti ecosystem, is renowned for its abundant wildlife and high concentration of predators, offering excellent opportunities for unforgettable wildlife encounters.

At 12:30 PM, your game drive begins in Central Serengeti, home to a wide array of animals including the Big Five, giraffes, cheetahs, and large wildebeest herds. This area is particularly famous for its lion and leopard populations, making it ideal for predator sightings.

At 1:30 PM, enjoy a picnic lunch on the Serengeti plains, surrounded by breathtaking scenery, before continuing your afternoon game drive and exploring the diverse ecosystems of this iconic park.

After breakfast at 6:30 AM, you will set off for Ngorongoro Crater, a drive of approximately three hours. This UNESCO World Heritage Site, often called the “Garden of Eden,” is renowned for its abundant wildlife and breathtaking landscapes.

Upon arrival, you will descend into the crater floor, a unique ecosystem teeming with animals, including the Big Five. Spend the day exploring the lush plains, where you may encounter elephants, buffalo, rhinos, lions, and many other species. The crater’s soda lakes are also home to large flocks of flamingos.

At 3:30 PM, after your game drive, you will begin the journey back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon, where you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure.
