A warm welcome awaits at Kigali International Airport. Upon arrival, our company representative will greet you and assist with your luggage to the vehicle. They will give you a brief overview of the day's program, and then you will be transferred to your accommodation in Kigali. After checking in, you will receive details of your 4-day tour schedule, including the pickup time for the next morning. Feel free to inquire about anything else you may need assistance with. After settling in, depending on your time of arrival, you can order dinner and then rest.

Day 2
Genocide memorial and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Genocide memorial and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After a restful night, you will have breakfast at the hotel and check out. Drive to the Genocide Memorial for a tour that offers insight into the 1994 Rwanda Genocide. The tour takes you through sections of the site where you will learn about the history of Rwanda that led to the horrific genocide, the pain Rwanda endured, and the reconciliation process that has shaped the country into what it is today.
From here, you will set off for Bwindi, arriving in the afternoon, checking in to your lodge, having lunch, and spending the rest of the afternoon and evening relaxing in preparation for the next day’s adventure.

Day 3
Gorilla trekking and Batwa cultural experience
Gorilla trekking and Batwa cultural experience
The gorilla trekking day will start with an early morning breakfast at the lodge. You will carry packed food for the trek, so in case it takes longer, you can have your lunch in the forest. Your driver guide will transfer you to the park offices, where you will meet other visitors going for gorilla trekking. Before starting the trek, you will be briefed and allocated gorilla families, then ranger guides will lead you through the forest. Upon meeting the gorillas, you will be allowed to stand at a distance and watch them for an hour, then exit the forest, pick up your trekking certificates, and return to the lodge.
In the afternoon, you will go for a community walk where you will meet the Batwa. They will entertain you with cultural music and dancing, and add stories about their history, including how they lived in Bwindi Forest as hunters and gatherers. Later, return to your lodge.

Day 4
Return to Kigali for departure flight
Return to Kigali for departure flight
Wake up to the serenity of Bwindi surroundings and prepare to check out of your rooms. You will first enjoy a delicious leisurely breakfast, ensure all your luggage is packed and transferred to the vehicle, and then bid farewell to Bwindi. You will drive back to Kigali, enjoying the scenic landscape one more time. Depending on your departure time, you can first do some shopping to get souvenirs, have lunch, and later be dropped off at Kigali International Airport for departure or at the hotel for your other programs.
