Nairobi to Maasai Mara National Reserve

After enjoying an early morning breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel at 7:00 AM and driven west to the Maasai Mara National Reserve. We'll make a brief stop at the Rift Valley viewpoint to take in breathtaking views and capture some photos. Continuing through Narok town, you will arrive at your camp, check in your accommodation. After settling in, savor a delicious buffet lunch.

Following lunch, set out on an exciting afternoon game drive. You can expect to encounter a wide variety of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, cheetahs, and, if lucky, the elusive leopard, completing the famed Big Five. You may also see hippos and crocodiles near the Mara River, as well as herds of wildebeest, especially during the migration season (July to September). Dinner and an overnight stay will be at the camp.

Maasai Mara National Reserve to Nairobi

After an early breakfast, you will leave the camp at for an exciting early morning game drive across the plains of the Maasai Mara in search of wildlife. While the best time to witness the migration of wildebeest and zebras is between July and October, the reserve is home to a variety of resident wildlife year-round, including lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo, rhinoceroses, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and several species of antelope that can be spotted during the drive.

After the game drive, begin your journey back to Nairobi. Upon arrival, you will be dropped off at your hotel, residence, or the airport for your flight home, concluding your unforgettable Kenya safari experience!
