Pick up from your lodge early in the morning by Armadillo professional guide and embark on a scenic journey to Tarangire National Park, carrying packed lunch boxes for a picnic during your adventure. Upon arrival, enjoy a full-day game drive across the park’s varied landscapes, from seasonal swamps to expansive savannahs, with the winding Tarangire River adding charm to the scenery. Keep your eyes open for the park’s iconic wildlife: large elephant herds grazing peacefully, lions stealthily stalking their prey, and leopards lounging in the trees while surveying the plains. Karatu to Ngorongoro For Game Drives

Begin the day early with breakfast before driving to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the densest wildlife habitats on the planet, for a remarkable game drive. Spot black rhinos grazing, lions roaming, elephants and buffaloes feeding, and hippos cooling in crater pools. Stop for a picnic lunch at a designated site within the crater while taking in the breathtaking views of this natural wonder. In the afternoon, ascend the crater rim and drive back to karatu, where you will be dropped to your lodge for overnight stay.

Karatu - Lake Manyara National park

After an early breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its lush groundwater forests, expansive floodplains, and diverse wildlife. Embark on a full-day game drive, where you may encounter tree-climbing lions, large elephant herds, hippos, baboon troops, and flocks of flamingos along the lake shore. Enjoy a picnic lunch within the park before continuing your afternoon exploration, capturing photographs and memories of this unique ecosystem. Later, return to your lodge in the Karatu for dinner and overnight stay, preparing for the next day of your tour.

Lake Eyasi (Hadzabe & Datoga Cultural Experience)

After breakfast, depart for Lake Eyasi, nestled in the Rift Valley and home to some of Tanzania’s most fascinating communities. Begin with a visit to the Hadzabe hunter-gatherers, learning about their ancient hunting techniques, fire-making skills, and the ways they live in harmony with nature. Continue to the Datoga tribe, pastoralists renowned for their blacksmithing and traditional lifestyle, gaining insight into their daily routines and cultural heritage. Enjoy a picnic lunch by the lake and take time to explore the scenic surroundings. In the late afternoon, you will transferred back to Arusha and this will be the mark end of our services.
