Nairobi - Maasai Mara National Reserve

Our safari team will meet you at your Nairobi hotel for a brief meet-and-greet and safari briefing, after which you will depart for the Maasai Mara National Reserve. Enjoy a scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley, arriving in time for lunch at your lodge or camp. An afternoon game drive introduces you to the Mara’s vast plains and abundant wildlife. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Explore Maasai Mara National Reserve

Spend the day exploring the Maasai Mara National Reserve with guided morning and afternoon game drives across the open plains and riverine areas. Wildlife sightings may include lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, buffalo, and large herds of plains game. Meals are taken at the lodge or as a picnic in the reserve.

(Optional: Early morning hot air balloon safari over the Maasai Mara, followed by a bush breakfast — available at an extra cost.).

After breakfast, depart the Maasai Mara National Reserve and drive through the scenic Great Rift Valley toward Lake Nakuru National Park. Arrive later in the day and check in at your lodge in time for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive around the lake and surrounding woodlands, home to rhinos, giraffes, buffalo, and rich birdlife. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

After breakfast, depart Lake Nakuru National Park and drive to Hell’s Gate National Park, famous for its dramatic gorges, towering cliffs, and geothermal features. Enjoy time exploring the park, with opportunities for walking or cycling alongside wildlife. (Cycling optional and at an extra cost). After the game drive, at Hell's Gate National Park, proceed to your Resort for Dinner and overnight.
